Biohacking is not just about six packages and stem cells.
Now, longevity junk are inland, using avant -garde technology and ancient medicine to expand their conscience, unlock hidden brain power and find inner peace.
The Post found Dave Asprey, the self -proclaimed “Biohacking Father”, for more information on how three trend techniques help people to go through their minds.
#1: Training in Neurofeedback
“Neurofeedback is one of the main ways in which biohackers reprogram their brain and works,” Asprey told The Post.
This non -invasive therapy uses EEG technology (electroencephalogram) to control real -time brain waves. Through audio or visual signals, it helps users recognize their patterns of thought and to learn how to self-regulate their brain function.
Research shows that neurofeedback can facilitate the symptoms of neurological and mental health disorders, while increasing cognitive skills such as attention, memory and processing speed.
“I have studied with the Masters of Nepal and Tibet, I have taken a lot of notropics and made vegetable medicine before I was popular, all to help my brain,” said Asparey. “However, the only thing that made the biggest difference for me was the neurofeedback.”
In 2014, Asprey opened a neuroscience center in the state of Washington, where it manages a five -day intensive name of 40 years of Zen.
The program uses personalized neurofeedback and other tools to help people update their brain. It promises to increase cognitive function, improve emotional resilience, reduce stress, release energy, unlock creativity and expand their minds.
“We are making brain piracy at the level with neurofeedback to help you get the benefits of 40 years of meditation in a matter of days,” said Asprey.
#2: Technology that can be carried
No time or cash for a whole week’s brain button with a $ 16,000 price tag? Biohackers also use portable appliances to update their minds from home comfort.
Top of the list of Asprey: Braintap.
“This technology combines light and sound to train brain waves,” he said. “It is certainly worth it.”
The Brainetap headphones stimulate the specific brain areas to induce a deeply relaxing, meditative state, erasing the mind and relieving stress.
It does not require special training or experience and the sessions last only 20 to 30 minutes. Members have $ 29.99 a month or $ 260 a year.
ASPREY also recommends museum diadem. The company’s Athena model combines eeg neurofeedback with almost functional infrared functional spectroscopy, which traces blood flow to the prefrontal cortex of the brain.
Muse claims to deliver an efficient directed neurofeedback that sharpens attention, builds mental resistance, and promotes deep relaxation. The headphones cost $ 474.99.
“This is also worth it,” said Asprey.
#3: Vegetable and psychedelic medicine
Think: Shrooms, Ayahuasca, DMT, LSD, Ibogaine and Ketamine.
“These can be deeply healing, but they are something you should do only after trying everything else,” said Asprey.
Among other benefits, substances may overload the brain by increasing BDNF and NGF: two essential proteins for the growth, survival and function of neurons.
“Not only do you access the altered and valuable states that allow you to understand what is happening so that you will not see in everyday reality, but that the advantages of these states or anything you do after, such as meditation or integration work, will get better because the brain is more flexible,” said Ansprey.
But keep in mind: “These experiences can leave brands that are not easy to shake,” he warned.
ASPREY emphasized the importance of safely using psychedelic: with the right mentality, a safe environment and an experience of an experienced expert, especially if you are new.
It breaks down the “hierarchy” of plant medicines, psychedelic and their effects on the brain in his new book, “Medity very meditated.”
The book also delves into old traditions and avant -garde technology that help you to hack the brain accelerate or slow down, altering physical and mental states.
